Hydropower

Applegate Group, Inc., provides engineering feasibility and design services for the development of hydropower resources. This includes an assessment of the resources available; and quantification of elevation drop and water supply; and the investigation of water rights. This assessment is used to design the system and develop an economic analysis and project schedule.

We design the civil components of the system required and consult with turbine manufacturers to select an appropriate turbine for the site. We are also available to assist with obtaining permits, exploring funding opportunities and writing grant applications.
